Educateurs sans Frontières, a division of Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), functions as a social movement that strives to promote the rights of the child throughout the world, irrespective of race, religion, political and social beliefs. EsF is committed to transcending borders in order to serve children through innovative educational initiatives using Montessori principles and practices.

EsF recognises and will support the capacity of each and every child to grow to their full potential.
We draw our inspiration and commitment from the work of Maria Montessori, and from the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We recognise that many children still suffer deprivation, discrimination and exclusion and as a consequence lack the opportunities to grow to their full potential.
A GLOBAL NETWORK OF CHANGEMAKERS
Educateurs sans Frontiers (EsF) connects changemakers, committed to promoting the rights of the child and advancing human development, from all over the world. EsF’s global network brings together people from many countries, backgrounds and fields of expertise to support the application of Montessori principles to advance human development and create a better world for all children, irrespective of race, religion, political and social beliefs.
EsF builds capacity by connecting Montessori teachers, advocates, students, schools and organisations with communities, social entrepreneurs, local officials and policy makers, to improve the visibility and credibility of Montessori education and consequently increase its availability and access.
EsF strengthens and broadens the network through preparing individuals to carry out the broader social mission of the Montessori movement; deepening their understanding of the needs of humanity and the development of the child by revisiting Montessori principles and practices from the perspective of society at large.
EsF organizes events and Assemblies to connect those who are working, or are interested in, the area of Montessori and child development.
SUPPORTING GLOBAL INITIATIVES
EsF supports educational initiatives through mentorship, providing pedagogical knowledge and giving access to a network of experts, guiding them towards sustainability, expansion, and replication.
EsF provides inspiration by highlighting innovative and diverse initiatives in applying Montessori principles from its network. They show that when Montessori principles are applied in the wider context of society, their possibilities are vast and all encompassing.
EsF connects those who are working in Montessori education globally to support human development, providing opportunities to connect and collaborate.
